Red Velvet Banana Bread

It’s like banana bread and red velvet cake all at the same time. Plus it’s drizzled with white chocolate and sprinkled with Christmas cheer! Great neighbor gift!

Red Velvet Banana Bread is easy to make with a cake mix and the recipe makes 5 loaves, perfect for a holiday gift!




Ingredients
  • 2 red velvet cake mixes (I used 2 (16.5 oz) Duncan Hines red velvet cake mixes)
  • 6 eggs
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 8 ounces white candy melts
  • Sprinkles

Cookie dough chunks are baked into bread pudding. The result is a rich dessert that easy and economical to make. You can make bread pudding with any type of bread. Obviously, if you want sweet bread pudding don’t use a bread with rosemary or garlic in it. Namely, challah, kaiser rolls, or brioche breads make good bread pudding.
